I am a mother of a special needs son. I didn’t understand why this happened. I cried. His father left. It’s been a hard life advocating for him for fairness. Protecting him against bullying. Making sure he’s happy, fed, clothed, warm, cool, clean etc. I remember one day crying out to God, saying the world hates my son, people reject him. You don’t understand how this breaks my heart God. Very clearly I heard God say: I do know how you feel, the world rejected my son. In that moment I said Oh God I’m so sorry, I’m being so selfish. You son went to the cross for us. I heard God say, I love your son very much. This is how much I love your son. For 3 days I felt this love of Christ that is just not of this world. It’s so pure, so unconditional. It was a touch of heaven. 3 days, not 5 minutes, not an hour but for 3 days He kept tangibly showing me how much He loved my son, and me and all people. I look look into my son’s eyes and I see unconditional love for me, he keeps me humble, he reminds me to laugh. I am honoured that God gave me a special son, when I serve my son, i am serving God. A God who is compassionate, full of joy, peace, strength. What we sometimes think is a curse, is actually a blessing!

I was born with spina bifida and scoliosis. I have delt with pain and had more surgeries than probably 10 full grown adults in their lifetime. My best answer for why does God allow so many bad thimgs to happen is this. "Without suffering there would be no compassion!!" We need bad things to happen so we can appreciate all the good!! But thats jus me and what I tell myself to get through all the bad in life easier

In Florida and it is 9:10 PM. My husband has been in a wheelchair for 37 year's. He has made the best of it❤ It hasn't been easy, but when he thinks of the suffering Jesus Christ did for us. He knows his pain is nothing compared to the suffering Jesus did for us on the cross🙌🔥🙌

I'm 68 years old and have been going to church since I was a little child in the early 60s. It's 00h23 here in South Africa, where we are having electricity load shedding and it's very dark.
