I'm a disabled veteran, been hit by 2 cars and been in 5 major car accidents. My spine is jacked. I feel that these yoga practices have improved my way of life. I raise my son full time on my own and this has been a blessing. I am able to go out and throw a baseball or shoot some hoops with him again. My posture has improved dramatically. Not to mention my pain level has decreased. I am able to do resistance training again because of the foundational strength that yoga has provided me. I honestly would have never thought in a million years that I would be doing yoga and actually admitting to it. Now if I had to choose one workout to do for the rest of my life it would be yoga. Thank you, Adriene for making these videos that are simple to follow along with. I don't even have to look up at the screen most of the time because your verbal cues are on point, and your jokes are entertaining as well. I'm grateful that I let my ego go and stepped outside of my comfort zone. Thanks again, you rock!

Anyone else notice a huge improvement in their posture over the last 27 days? I'm sitting, standing, and walking around a lot physically and emotionally taller than I used to. Thank you, Adriene!

Hi Adriene!

I've been following your videos for a few years now (did the original 30 days of yoga and yoga camp), and I want to tell you how grateful I am to have found this channel. Aside from financial restraints, I also deal with severe anxiety that makes it extremely difficult to go to classes with other people. Following along with your videos has made me feel like I am in my own personal yoga class, and the longer I've been watching the better I have gotten to know the teacher (e.g.-all the little inside jokes). What I like best is that you have something for everyone, or every feeling, every body part, every part of the day. I've recommended you to the girls in my therapy group and to my 6' 200+ pound cousin. I've never commented before, but I just wanted you to know how grateful I am to have you in my home. You've brought a shining light into my life, especially now when the current political climate of the country is grim.

Also, I know you are a musical fan, and I don't know if you're familiar with Hamilton, but every time you say "rise up, " I wanna sing, "when you're living on you're knees you rise up! Tell your sister that she's gotta rise up."

Honor Day 15! Day 73 of return to YWA. Such a funny video. I had to laugh at myself too as I had applied baking soda to my face, figuring I could let it dry while practicing. No snow outside but plenty dropped on my mat during this practice! Thank you Adriene! 💜

Adriene, I always love the discussion of self love and feel that it is vital to our daily existence and found it out the hard way years ago. But since then have really been making sure to listen to my body and what it needs. That's one of the reasons why I do yoga...it's me time and as you mentioned it is a way for me to connect with myself. This was another terrific practice strengthening from the sternum. sweet Adriene, never apologize for being goofy. You teach me about yoga, being with myself and being with my body but on top of this, you teach me about being playful. I admire this quality in you so much. Please, never stop being goofy! It is a gift to be so open and connected to play and have fun. Day 27 🎉 I could envision a bright yellow light in my belly! Life is good, I have me, my practice, a mat and all the positive energy in the world. Some days are good, some are bad, but this practice remains constant! Thank you Adrienne and all those practicing with me ❤

Why do we yoga? Because it's good for the soul and the health benefits of yoga are many of couse. A better balanced mind. Healthy lifestyle. What it feels like to float happy and weightless in another galaxy. Very good practice.

SPARK 🔆 | July 26, 2022 | I like the idea of zen-ing IN instead of out, and this was for sure a great check IN in the middle of a busy day. I have some creative work tasks ahead of me this afternoon and this helped me disconnect from the pressure and reconnect to the fun. I love the musical theme of Revolution too, definitely leaves me feeling very zen at the end. 🧘‍♀🙏
