The cue to "claw" the feet is the most underrated one by far! "Driving through your heels" just makes you rock once you approach near max intensity. That classic cue is great when starting out, but clawing gave me almost as much stability as the lifting belt. Definitely one to try if you've never done it!

I finally hit depth the other day. All this time I had a wide stance because I thought that's how you got rid of butt wink. This whole time I was thinking I wasn't going wide enough then I thought "wait this is basically sumo squatting lemme just try a narrow stance real quick". Lo and behold I hit depth consistently for all my sets. Squat University is the GOAT.

Thanks for sharing this. Lots of ppl out there still don’t know how to squat properly. Sometimes it’s not about the weight but it’s the technique and form that makes the difference. (Correct me if I’m wrong)

Nobody talks about that bounce to go deep that’s the difference between a squat and everything close. That requires a good knee and I wish they focus on the muscles and bone rotation work involved
