Definitely wouldn’t give up a first just for walker. I’d consider Scott Laughton and walker for our first and Lily. I’d prefer to either go after Savard or Andrew peeke. Also, the leafs should be very very careful about adding TOO many players to the team. Only way I’d add any defencemen worth trading a lot for is if they have term

It's a terrifying thought if the Leafs trade Robertson and he turns into a top 6 30 goal scorer. That's why you have to be careful when trading away younger guys Like that, especially for a rental that isn't going to really make a huge impact into the future..

As soon as Tavares and Marners contracts expire, I think Treliving needs to do a retooling of the team
and pick up some higher caliber players. Tavares especially is eating so much cap space and barely scores goals.

Robertson could be traded, he isn't going to be able to function in the playoffs my crystal ball tells me (then watch him net 40 goals next year and win league MVP lol). I still say letting Schenn walk at the end of last season was a mistake. Lyubushkin with Brodie, Reilly and Schenn, McCabe and Benoit would be tougher but oh well.

Walker would be the smallest defenseman on the Leafs. As much as he is a RD, he is not what the Leafs need. If they are playing the Florida Dirtbags in the playoffs, they are going to want someone bigger and tougher. Someone to toss Tkachuck, Bennet and Cousins around.
