I'm at 25 hours water only right now. My blood sugar went from 240 down to 140 so far. Blood pressure almost normalized. After 3 days of fasting my body needs no medication. As long as I go back to clean eating I can be med free. Great video Doc!!

For past 2 months I ve having meals at intervals of 36 hours(drinking a lot of water in between there).thanks God I got rid of all my allergies now, I hope I can continue doing this for the rest of my LIFE. Try it, it works miracles.thank me later

For a long time I believed that eating 6 times a day is the best thing you can do for your body. I've eaten clean, mostly plant based diet and was hungry every 2 hours. I thought it was just a sign of my metabolism working well. Maybe it was, I don't know. But now when I do keto it is just so much more practical. I don't organize my day around food, I've started IF and I try to read as much research as I can. I'm still not 100% sure what's true and what is not. Maybe there is no one particular diet perfect for everyone. But I feel great on keto and that's what I'm going with for now.

Yes I was sick for really 10 years from a very unhealthy life style of drinking and food. I'm 46 years old. Heart disease runs in my family.
Then 2 years ago I came down with Rocky Mountain Spotted fever it nearly killed me!
It took 2 years to recover as well as gaining 80lbs but I couldn't workout as in walking and running to get fat off. Couldn't sustain it no matter what I tried.

Then I started the omad/keto diet and in 2 months I have lost 54lbs and have 30lbs to go.
The point is I can sustain this when I could not sustain the working out.
The one meal a day is the new lifestyle I will be using the rest of my life.

I'm on the rd to a new healthier me. The trouble I'm having is that I don't have the energy I would like to have. I take magnesium, potassium and as I think to I try to use sea salt.

I'm better than i was in the beginning my body. Was not happy. Haha.. it wanted carbs and sugar. 😆 but i would like to have more energy.
The lifestyle of fasting is awesome. 😊 I'm almost at my goal of 165lbs. Then I want to start working out again hoping to have the energy when I do but I want the fat gone first.

I have been practicing Intermittent Fasting for a few years now. I recently had my bi-annual Colonoscopy where previously I had a average of 10-15+ polyps removed. This year I only had 3! I'm sold on Autophagy!!!!

I'm going on a 36 hour fast, all I had was water during this time, this is the reason I searched autophagy and found you. I was feeling fine until I woke up, now I feel groggy, tired, sleepy, dizzy etc. I want to keep going since I'm staying home and no place to be, I don't think I'd be able to drive like this. I hope this will help get rid of a few lbs and feel better psychologically. Thanks for all the info doc!

Also for the prostate cancer I've learned that unfortunately ketosis/keto diet raises PSA dramatically. One of the few cancers that use fats and protein instead of sugar. So does suggested instead of a ketogenic diet to eat a day low medium carb and medium low fat protein diet like fish Chicken & salads green beans type of thing.
