Is It a SIN to Celebrate EASTER? The TRUTH Will SURPRISE You!

Easter has pagan origins which probably includes elements from Ishtar, the Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of sex and Eostre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of Spring. Bunny rabbits and eggs have nothing to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. They are symbols of fertility and new life. Not to mention, there is no record of the disciples of Jesus celebrating Easter in honor of the resurrection of Jesus in the New Testament. Does this mean it's a sin to celebrate Easter? Deuteronomy 12:31 - Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for all abomination, which the Lord hateth, have they done unto their gods: for they have burned both their sons and their daughters with fire to their gods.

I say this in a humble manner...if it's pagan, we as believers should have nothing to do with it. Taking a pagan holiday and celebrating the Most High in its place is still mingling Christianity with paganism.
