In this video, Daniel answers some of the questions that people ask about profanity. Is it a sin to swear according to the bible? Is cussing a sin? In this video, I go straight to scripture and tell you what the bible says about cussing or using vulgar words. The answer to these questions should be straight forward if you really are a child of God and want to live holy as God is holy. Most of these types of questions can be answered by asking yourself these questions, "what would Jesus do to say?"
So can Christians continue to live like the rest of the world and use the same foul or vulgar language? Definitely not. We are set apart and people should see it by the way we talk and the way we act. We are the light of the world and can not glorify God with the same tongue that we use to curse at people. I had the filthiest mouth imaginable. Profanity flowed out as naturally as could be. I tried for years to quit but couldn’t make it longer than a week or so at a time. I finally decided to turn it over to the Lord, so I prayed every night for several months for deliverance from the terrible habit that was tormenting me. Well, after begging Him nightly for those months and not letting go of the faith that I had that He would step in for me, I woke up one morning and it just didn’t come out anymore. I say this to the brothers and sisters who are struggling with this and I am proof that He can take this away from you if you are sincere and persistent.

This is so weird. Lately, I've been thinking to myself, "Wow I curse so much! I need to stop! How do I stop!?" And then you post this video today. The signs that God gives are always on time.

*I LOVE THIS ANALOGY*

When *GOD* wanted to create fish, *HE* spoke to the sea.
When *GOD* wanted to create trees, *HE* spoke to the earth.
But when *GOD* wanted to create man, *HE* turned to Himself.

Then *GOD* said: "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness".

Note:
If you take a *fish* out of *the water* it will die; and when you remove a *tree* from *soil*, it will also die.

Likewise, when man is disconnected from *GOD*, he dies.
*GOD* is our natural environment. We were created to live in *His* presence. We have to be connected to *Him* because it is only in *Him* that life exists.

Let's stay connected to *GOD*.
We recall that *water* without *fish* is still *water* but *fish* without *water* is nothing.
The *soil* without *tree* is still *soil* but *the tree* without *soil* is nothing ...
*GOD* without man is still *GOD* but man without *GOD* is nothing.

When you have such a question, ask yourself this: "would I speak this way in front of the Lord?" you will get an answer pretty quickly!
I recently asked this question to my brother, he curses a lot and he's a Christian, but when I asked him this question he cursed at me and called me a demon...

I asked the Lord to help me stop cussing and using filthy language. I fought for years trying to stop on my own, I couldn’t do it without Him. He gave me patience in return as well! I can’t even bare to hear others speak it 🙉 it’s shocking. We must be careful. Gotta stop & think.

People in my school drop f bombs non-stop like it’s completely okay just to be fancy and it is my biggest pet peeve. My grandparents are lucky that they were born at a time when cursing was actually bad to society.
