'only tenderness between us' by Ajeet - Official Music Video

Показать описание
Filmed in the Winter months of the rough and wildly beautiful Co. Kerry Ireland, Ajeet moves with Basque contemporary dancer Amaia Elizaran, embodying a healing relationship with the land and one another. A viewer may get lost between the internal and external landscape as the striking yet tender scenes mirror an inner world.
The video accompanies Ajeet's song, "only tenderness between us", written on her father's piano in a six week respite between two major operations. In a time of tender healing she reflected on the ways her own fragility brought out a deep and beautiful tenderness in her relationships, and how much this tenderness from her loved ones changed what illness and healing meant to her. It is a love song, to a person, but also to a way we are together.
Ajeet and Amaia had an instant friendship the moment they met, and their creative chemistry is intuitive and natural. Amaia brought movement into Ajeet's life in a moment when her body was searching for ways to heal and find itself again. This video was made by three women in healing processes, and the sensitivity and intention to witness that process is felt in what we see here.
Filmed, edited and directed by Renata Etanowski
