Love this scene, just noticing the accordion player on the float going absolutely ham even though you can't hear her at all in the mix. That's commitment!

Awesome classic scene!

FYI when he falls over at end & is caught by the extras, Mathew Broderick later said in an interview he was overpowered by the massive energy from the roaring & cheering of the crowd so much so that it caused him to basically pass out & fall back. That was real cheering in that scene! He also said they never imagined it would be that big of a crowd & reaction - cool bit of classic cinema history no doubt lol

I loved George Harrison’s reaction about hearing that a kid reached out to the studio to find out more about the new band who recorded that song.

This was filmed during an actual parade, so many of these people were just there during a parade and didn't know it was a movie.

It's funny how you only hear the brass playing when the marching band is on screen, they just fade out of existence when they are not in frame.

Love how when the song starts you hear a bunch of girls screech like banshees. As if this scene was at an actual Beatles concert.

I grew up in a small town and watched this as a child, and I literally thought this is how cities were, like people would just randomly do dance numbers
