I’m a high school teacher now in the same high school were I studied, so the last week, I made my students to watch it. They are about to graduate, and they were very pressured with the admission exam for college and the end of the semester. Literally, they were collapsing in anxiety. So this was like a break for them a new breath. I have really appreciated the film and I’m so happy for that. I was worried they would taking it so boring or old-fashioned but they love it

A teacher made us watch this in high school, when I should have been the right age for it, and I was bored to tears. Too eighties for this nineties/2000s kid. Watching it for the second time now that I'm almost Rooney's age and it might join my list of favorite movies.

I was an 80s child and my old friends now say I was exactly like Bueller in high school lol. I was such a rebel, always pulling stunts at school including one night painting a sign outside the house of a painful teacher that read "Police academy blue oyster bar party out the back, all welcome" haha

FBDO was one of my faves as a kid; I'm 45 now and I still love it.

I actually did something like this in about '81 where he called to get his girlfriend out of school. I won't go too far into the details, but I didn't tell my friend I was doing this. She thought a family member was really ill. There were no questions asked and her mom never found out. We had fun that day too :)

I guess I was ahead of my time.
