I did spine exercises for a year and it didn't change my scoliosis at all. It's good to stay strong and try to reduce pain, and that's all we can do!

Simply hanging from a pull up bar does wonders for helping straighten your back if you do it daily these exercises are more for the muscle and if your doing it to fix scoliosis id recomend doing these after a workout so you target the already weakened muscles and really get in there to make change

Don’t just do these exercises without strengthening your hips first. I had chronic back issues that exercises didn’t help until a physio realized my hips were tilted. Now that I’m working on my hips, my shoulders are naturally doing much better. Hips first!

Every time I do scoliosis exercises, I end up in more pain and discomfort. So I just stop doing em.

Hello, best exercise in my opinion for scoliosis you need a machine to hold you body in a certain position, and then do the exercise isolated on a certain muscle group! This machine would worth millions!

How are you a Chiro and got this wrong?? Im a physio therapist and this is wrong. You strengthen the concaved side because when that tissue develops it’ll pull on the bones straightening the spine and the muscles on the convexed side are shortened so they need to be lengthened and stretched…. ???

The convex side muscles are already bulky, you need to stretch and strengthen the concave side. This is bad information.

Do yoga, hours of yoga. I fixed mine and have scoliosis no more.

My convex side is way more tight and strong, so I feel the need to stretch convex side.

My concave side feels rather tender and slim (lack of muscle)

Shouldn’t I stretch convex side?

I have kyphosis along with spina bifida so its been hard to find exercises for me to do since i cant move my legs
