Roberto, I've been following your journey ever since I heard you on Pat Flynn's
podcast. I've watched so much of your content, but this my first time commenting.
I respect you so much, because you're one of the people doing this right. You deserve
every bit of the success you're experiencing.

I'm trying to escape the time for money trap, much like you've done...
I've stumbled again, and again, and again. But so much of what you say in this video is true.

There was a time when all I wanted to do was be an entrepreneur and it hasn't been that
smooth of a journey for me. I remember having to let my side hustle and other YouTube channel fall by the
wayside to take advantage of my job situation, get myself out of debt, build an emergency fund, and invest.

Only now am I starting to get back to the dream of being an entrepreneur. I'm going to go about it a different
way this time.

Quitting your job is a great goal but it's good to stay as long as possible and make your side hustle bigger and bigger until you can actually replace your day job 🙏🏻 I once went freelance and even started another business but the truth is I didn't have a proper plan nor did I save anything before or started next to my day job. I don’t know how many times I actually thought about quitting my job, after 8 years... I really enjoy doing my makeup tutorials and engaging with my friends(subscribers), I’m just scared to fail! I often think that I can’t grow because I don’t have time to actually do what I love because of my job, so next year, I put forward the action in uploading more to be able to start my career as a YouTuber!

Great video Roberto!! I made sure that I saved enough money that would cover me and my family for a year before I left my job. Even though I do have a husband with an income I didn't want him to have to take on everything. I wanted to make sure that when I let go of my job that life would still be comfortable. I'm doing my side hustles for a year and see where that takes me.

Wanted to add you are so right about the schedule. After I left my 9 to 5, my schedule was so off. I was waking up at noon and going to bed 3 in the morning. I had to get on a better schedule because it was affecting everything around me. So now I am on a better schedule and go to bed at a decent time so I can get more work done. Love your videos!!

Healthcare held me back for a long time. I have type 1 diabetes.. insulin is so expensive. I got fired and lost my healthcare any way. I said eff it and dusted working freelance. It's insanity scary. I still wake up worried about my health and supplies, but I it work.
