Welcome to my new course - Learn to Code with Unreal Engine 5 with Blueprints!

This course will focus on teaching you the basics of programming with Blueprints. We will focus on learning fundamental coding concepts by using simple, practical examples. We will focus on teaching you the "why" instead of the "how."

Once we learn all the basics we will put everything together and learn techniques to think like a programmer. We will go over several examples from start to finish so you can see how we can use the different concepts we learned and put them to use.

Then we will learn about debugging our code and go through some examples as well.

By the end of the course you will feel empowered to come up with your own functionality from start to finish. Furthermore, you will be able to follow other Unreal Engine tutorials much easier!

this is such a gem, people would assume it is a low quality tutorial because it is 3 minutes but the rest of the playlist is the most valuable videos i have found for unreal 5

I can't speak for absolute beginners, but as a seasoned (non-UE) developer who—once every few years—has attempted to understand how blueprints work, this is the first set of videos I've come across that have so concisely explained what I've needed to know in order to understand. Also great editing and delivery (though it sounds more natural at 1.25x speed, and is still perfectly clear at 1.5x, for a native listener). I don't understand how there are so few likes on these videos. Well done, and thank you!

I am happy to hear someone finally state my biggest issue with so many tutorials. I dont feel like I am learning why many of the things I am doing as I follow along do what they do, nor do I feel at the end that I can replicate, most if anything I have just spent hours doing. I look forward to watching the rest of this series, and making progress on learning the why and not just the how.

Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind going through tutorial after tutorial of being told to click buttons in a specific order rather than explain what was happening. I'm someone who goes to tutorials so I can learn tools that I can use to experiment and play around with to further my learning so just learning the how was driving me mad and really slowing down my learning. Thank you for creating this series with this philosophy in mind!(:

Best unreal course on youtube. You do need coding experience and knowledge to be able to follow imo but if you have that, this is hands down the most well explained course available. Thank you!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to develop these videos. I watched the entire playlist and came out of it with a much better understanding of blueprints. I'm a fullstack web developer who wanted to make my own game and found I would rather make it in 3D and on Unreal. I knew I needed a starting point. The way you broke these all down made it extremely simple to understand and realize it's not as intimidating as it seems. I'm used to writing code all the time, not putting together pieces of puzzles. This all made me realize I just needed to change my perspective on the understanding I already have on programming and just visualize it instead. Thank you!!

This is an extremly underrated course for those with little to no understanding of coding or Unreal Engine 5. I am completely new in all aspects, and I had to go through 15 "how to" only videos before stumbling onto this. I can finally say that I've found a course worth following that offers proper understanding, instead of just following a 1-hour step by step video for one function, where I end up coming out none the wiser.

This course is close to perfect for new people like me, and it's FREE.

I'm going to start watching your videos bro... I've watched a few Blueprint Tutorials, coming from an engineering background with no knowledge of even the basics of coding, I got very confused why some functions do one thing, why you use them, and why there's a different function that does the same thing, but you don't want to use them. fingers crossed lmao 🤣
