Welcome to Session 3 of the XR Innovation Launchpad 2024.
We are excited to have Gospel Ononwi, an AR/VR Developer and XR instructor, leading the Snap Chat Lens Studio Track of the XR Innovation Launchpad Program. Gospel will be guiding the 100 selected participants in creating customized Spark AR filters and experiences using their mobile devices and PCs.
Our guest speaker for the session is Mfon Enoh, a Game Developer, Unreal Engine Instructor, UEFN - Fortnite Creator, and a Women in Games Ambassador. She will share her journey with Game Development, building with Unreal Engine, and showcase inspiring XR and Gaming experiences, aiming to encourage more women to get started with Gaming & XR Development in Africa.
About the XR Innovation Launchpad Program 2024
The XR Innovation Launchpad is an initiative by Immersive Tech Africa designed to upskill emerging talents and creators. It is a 10-week hybrid training program aiming to kickstart careers in Extended Reality (XR) technology across Africa.
With XR's increasing relevance in various industries, from education to entertainment, this program seeks to bridge the technical and creative talent and skills gap in the XR industry and foster innovation within the continent.
