Listening and about 45 min in. Adventist currently. I see you guys laughing sometimes at these writings.. and I can’t help but join you. It’s rough though but I can’t help to see so much biblical error in her writings now. In my opinion, I think because she has SO MUCH published in her name it’s hard to pin point at times all the inconsistencies. This past year has been so hard to see a church that I loved and respected with all its flaws become a church system I can no longer support. The evidence is just to great. My heart is heavy but I know the Lord will lead. God bless you guys.. I know it’s not always an easy road 🙏🏽

Why Her Prophecies Failed?

She blames/blamed, it on YOU, the Seventh-day Adventist church members!

I am amazed at what Adventists will argue. It is recorded in Ellen White's own writings that she had a message from her husband after he died. It even included "instructions" from him. Adventists themselves know how wrong necromancy is, and so to defend Ellen White, they say it was a dream, and that she wasn't consulting a spirit. It is absolutely incredible, to what extent they will argue and "defend".

Her grandson came to our church representing the White Estate around 1992. He spoke at a special afternoon meeting. He said “ Nothing my grandmother prophesied has not come true” 100% he said! I couldn’t stand it. I stood up in the dark church and said “ What about what she said about “self abuse”. That’s clearly not true. He said all the science is not all in on that. Or something similar. So deceit is genetic. How sad he grew up and felt he had no option but to further the lie!

As a former seventh, I can relate to you guys a lot. I believe I am fourth or fifth generation. my mother side of the family from Maine and it was among one some of the earliest followers as far as I remember.

I am a Roman Catholic . I believe that we must follow the light that we are given and strive for all at all times. The truth is not in the SDA and untangling, their lies from my theological point of view was extremely hard and I find it to be still ongoing. They ingrain, false beliefs, deep.


I want to like you guys. I’m just not sure how to do it. Any advice ?

Ellen Whits says that we will get to a point were we do not sin. Notice what the Bible says about people that say this. The truth is not in them.
