Personally i dont understand why Wooly would sudently be the bad guy when in the other game he tries to help us and tell us something while amanda is preventing him to do that. It doesnt make any sense

So maybe [ ] attacks when you destroy them so the Wooly Monster doesn't get there, not to protect the person cause clearly its scared as fuck.

It seems to be controlled by Amanda since it attacks when someone aggravates/stresses Amanda, [ ] leaves Riley alone when Amanda tells it to leave her.
