If you use it to avoid making lifestyle changes then yes, come off and you go right back. I was apprehensive starting but it has helped so much already! I used to wake up with crippling anxiety and I had no energy to work out at all. Seriously, after the first dose the anxiety completely disappeared! I have been able to work into an exercise routine and actually do it. For me, this is a tool to change my lifestyle. Getting into actual shape and not having cravings while I retrain my body to eat only good foods is a God send. I know I still have to EARN the body I want to keep it!

I’ve been on ozempic for 13 weeks now. Lost 21 pounds, feel great. I also started to workout at the same time. I can’t eat fast food because I feel my stomach doesn’t digest it well and I’m a little constipated…that’s it…in Canada, the medication is approved for weight loss and believe me, I needed it.

Hiya!~ I have thyroid disease and diabetes and have been on Ozempic for 3 months now! Most of my food cravings are gone, I don't feel hungry anymore and if I do it's like once a day at most, and my meals have to be very small so I don't feel over full quickly now. I felt some slight nausea on injection day or the day after for the first few weeks but now everything is much more stable and normal :) It seems to be helping me a lot

I have already lost 112 pounds on Ozempic and no longer need to take insulin my A1C is 5.2, this has all been without exercise as I have extremely bad arthritis in my shoulders and knees and use a walker hoping after a few more pounds I can get my much needed knee replacement surgery

What does her being a single mom have to do with the story? Why is that part of the First Lady’s introduction?

the second i started ozempic, and limited my carbs to 50g and did a sugar cleanse my first 10 days, my nausea and vomiting stopped because i wasnt eating greasy carbs. i still like bread, candy, sweets, and etc. I just found OTHER THINGS I ENJOYED MORE OVER the carbs and sugar. :) also ALL of those medications work almost the same lol, and it doesnt make you REPULSED OF food, it decreases the appetite and crazing to binge.

Had RNY about 10 years ago. Lost about 70lbs. Gained 60lbs back after I was let go from a high-paying job about 12 months later. Finally got my insurance to clear me for Wegovy 6 weeks ago. On my 5th week of shots and the jump from 0.25mg to 0.50mg hit me hard this weekend. LOADS of nausea and dizziness, but with the combo of having my smaller stomach and this medicine I'm already down 12lbs in 5 weeks and I'm going to push through the discomfort and see how this goes through summer. My addictive cravings are gone, which is a psychological bummer at times, but it just goes to show how obesity is mind as much as body.

On Mounjaro 8 months, down 45 lbs. Really doubt these few ladies are representative. I expect to keep the pounds off after.
Update: 2 months OFF the medication, down 50 lbs (5 lbs more). So far no problem maintaining, will update later.

Once I got to the 2mg dosage my appetite just started to vanish. Ended up eating only twice a day, and even then only able to eat 1/2 what I previously did. Cravings for sugary foods, like soda, completely went away. Promptly lost 40 pounds without even trying.

I have not gotten any side affects at all. I don't even feel sick from eating too much. I just stop when I feel full and that is all that happens I feel full faster. I have disability coverage so that covers it. The only thing to worry about is the shortage.

Long term weight loss takes long term lifestyle changes. It's a journey not a race.

I’ve been taking ozempic for 16 weeks and have lost 44lbs so far. Only side effects for me are slight nausea and constipation. I take magnesium everyday to help with constipation. I started off at a lower dose (.25 mg) and have only had to increase to .75 mg.

I was prescribed Ozempic for diabetes. In its lowest dose I felt bloated and vomited. It also caused constipation followed by a weekly projectile diarrhoea. Felt really bad. Now trying it again with an antiemetic.

I was on Wegovy (exact same as Ozempec) for about 6 months. I had insurance issues and had to stop about a month a and I’ve had hardly any changes in my appetite since that month. I’m still eating less. I will go back on it sometime in the next 2 weeks… I did have the side affects but they got much better by the 3rd month. If I tried to over eat is when I would get nauseous.
