Completely agree! Just said this! Heavy cream is expensive. Homemade butter is not cheaper at all. It’s just fresher

Well, it’s not a waste of time or money for me because where I live I don’t get real butter or it’s super expensive. Therefore, I do it myself 😊

If you make your own butter, you also made your own buttermilk. It’s not a waste of money. You get butter, and buttermilk to make biscuits, pancakes, waffles, etc.

You’re half right. Homemade butter in a food processor is not worth it. Use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment and go slow. You’ll see the light.
