An 11-year-old #Florida girl was arrested after falsely texting authorities that her friend was kidnapped by an armed man – later confessing the prank was part of a YouTube challenge.

At eleven years old, having those handcuffs on and thinking she is going to jail, (we all know she is not) is definitely a life lesson she will never forget.

Reminds me of a time when my oldest brother stole a a basketball keyring from a store. Our mom found out and called the cops. They cuffed him and I believe they put him in the back of the car to teach him a lesson. My mom did it to teach him, my other brother and myself a lesson.
They released him and I believe all charges were drooped He was forced to return it to the store and apologize to the owner. Then I think he had to do Community service.


Obviously that example stuck with me for my whole life. Thank God for parents like these. Hopefully this young lady turns out to be a functioning member of society.

In the 80s my exes nephew and his friend were about 12, they went so far as to stay out all night. They then proceeded to put together a ransom note complete with cut out words from a magazine. The FBI came to talk to them and scare the crap out of them.
