One of the most influential self-development books written, Carnegie explains principles that can make you more influential. The book is broken down into sections detailing how to be a better leader and how to make you more likeable. The book also includes examples from historical figures as well as examples from its application in business as well as life in general. There is a reason why this book is so revered. The book has a simple message that is laid on in a way that makes it easy for the reader to read and comprehend. I found myself continually highlighting and taking notes while reading and I suggest potential readers do the same. It is a book that you can regularly revisit to refresh the ideas in the book and serve as some personal inspiration. This book has the potential to help a lot of people. I rate this book five stars.

This book is an eye opener!
It teaches about empathy, and a small amount of how people (Humans as a whole) minds work for the first 3 chapters.

I understand that some bits in this book, are boring (especially about historical people).
But I think people overlook it, and would recommend be understood, to understand the context of the message.


This is very helpful for my personal life.

It was a good review but here's my version of it.
The writer exaggerates a lot about the result of following his principles. He gives many long boring examples to justify his principles. If you start to implement all his principles in daily life you may feel that the only purpose of your life is to praise others and get their approval and make them like you.
But to be very honest this book is good for every child to read and you can apply these rules to your family but if you start to apply them to everyone you should think about the results deeply
