Series 1:3 Recipe for Rat Constipation Treatment

Recipe for 1 Rat
1/4 tablespoon of pumpkin puree
1/8 teaspoon of RAW honey
1/8 teaspoon of ground flax seed
Give to rat once a day for 3 days. If you don't see a change call your vet. If you begin to notice runny stool STOP giving them this.

Ok so I'm way off topic here but I was just wondering
And anyone can answer this if they know anything
But, my girl Noodle sometimes tenses and shakes/aggressively shivers when I touch a certain part on her back. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does she doesn't squeak or make any move to show that she's in pain she just does...that shaking stuff. Idk if it's anything serious but just in case I thought I'd ask

I have never heard of this happening. Are you sure he didnt get any up his nose while eating it? That can cause sneezing.

She is considered a "velveteen" since she is not a true rex, just kinda wavy.

I have an old rat.. her cage mate just died. So I think she does t eat a lot of her normal food. Maybe that makes her constipated?? She drinks a lot of water tho. And I give her veggies and fruits. She also walks around a lot. So. Idk if she’s constipated or not. But her poops are small and she only like pooped 3 turds in a day. So. I’ll try out your recipe

Since she is only wavy and not curly. They call it "velveteen" or a "poor rex" Just means I couldn't show her as a rex if I was into that kinda stuff. She still cute either way :-)

i gave my rat pumpkin and now i feel he is having a allergic reaction bc he is sneezing .. he was fine until i let him have a go... what can i do?

Hi I was hoping that you could help me because I have a rat who’s quite sick he has a tumour and a breathing problem. Also we can’t get the tumour removed because he isn’t strong enough for it ;(

Also his poop is quite a light brown colour instead of black and it’s really worrying me

I have a 6 week old boy with constipation and bloating. He has dried poop on his rectum. Onset overnight. We use the same Oxford diet. He's still behaving normally and eating and drinking. Do you think this diet could help him?

Help, my rat, Bean, has been sneezing blood. Well at least I think its blood, it could also be porphyrin, I researched it a bit. What can I do to make her stop sneezing, or leaking blood from its nose. I love my little rat so much, if there's anything I should know about this and about how to stop it that you know could you please tell me?
