Having a small meal or snack 1-2 times between the main meals boosts the metabolism.” According to research, those who snack in between main meals eat less during meals. Otherwise, long gaps between meals slow down the metabolism and increase the body’s ability to store fat. Short people also have slower metabolisms because their muscles are short (less muscle). I personally am 5’2” & despite being short, my metabolism is not bad, but I’m sure it would’ve been faster if I was taller.

I exercise 5 days a week and stay on calorie deficit and take 2 days off. On those 2 days I'm consuming on my maintenance calories. Is this a good approach for fat loss?
