I had my first day of personal training yesterday, my trainer focused on some of these exercises, trying to activate some of my muscles. It was 45 minutes of work outs, I was exhausted after and slept for a few hours. The workouts using the resistance bands was the hardest part, my brain and body were working hard. I go back on Wednesday. I also go to a place called stretch zone, to get a good stretch. They stretch my arms and legs for 30 minutes. It helps with spasticity and tight muscles. I've been going for a few months. I like it. Just trying different things, plus it gets me out of the house. I was super nervous about going to my training session, I'm happy that I went.

It's not just me then? 😂
It's the last two years.. Tara has read my mind has to which exercise I would most likely be on or be needing at nearly every stage of my therapy or recovery.. and 95% of the time... Youtube/Tara gets it spot on! Seriously!

Hey Doc, is that applicable for flaccid stage patients?

I like the second exercise the most, because we stretch both the arm and the leg at the same time, because in this way we activate the entire last kinetic chain necessary for cyclical movements such as walking. I make sure to add it to my daily rotation. Thanks, have a nice week.

Hi, I’m almost 7 months post stroke and I’m trying to walk but I’m having spasticity in my foot that won’t go away no matter the exercise or medication I take.

For a few weeks, the sound is only playing on the right speaker. Fix it please.
