Hey I'm 50 and am fixing my underbite with braces. It's positional, not skeletal, though, BUT my orthodontist when I was a teen said I'd definitely need jaw surgery as an adult if I didn't get it fixed. I put off looking into getting it fixed FOREVER because of that. Now I wish I'd just asked my dentist 15 years ago. Ask anyway, y'all! You never know!
