this is the same exact thing my orthodontic is doing for me. I already got my two teeth removed so then they connected all the teeth together with one wire on the bottom this month (September) and i was in so much pain. And in October I will be getting rubber bands.

but the bone of the lower jaw still exists. How they can make that bone shrink after teeth extraction?

But what If its your top jaw that is too far back? If you push the bottom jaw back to fit the top then it would just look weird

I have this same problem and am forty years old. It started when i was 15 but i lived in a comunist country and there was never the stuff to deal with it. Then i had the wisdom tooth removed wit very little aenestesia, it was hell. Now am too afraid of dentists. It just get getting worse, i dont eat infront of anyone or smile. Its weird and ugly.

I have a underbite and also I have gap between my upper teeth and one teeth on another teeth on upper side I want toh fix the gap but doctors says I have to braces but removal of two teeth from bottom side coz my teeth are locked is it difficult problem😢

I don't know what my orthodontist suggested that if removing 2 tooth or just rubber bands
