What got me was the scripture where Jesus says “if you love me, you’ll keep my commandments”. I have always loved Him, but I was backsliding really badly. I did not want to hurt Him with my sin, so I gave my life back to Him. Once I turned from my sin and gave my whole life and soul to Him, the Holy Spirit has completely changed me.
