I think they are the most dangerous narcissists because you never see it coming since they speak so kindly and are generally pleasant. I know I was absolutely floored. But I’ve learned a lot through this experience and now know that my intuition speaks to me and I won’t ignore it ever again.

It's hard to discern a covert narcissist at a glance because their toxicity is "hidden." In my experience, they are more dangerous than overt narcissists. I was unsure what covert narcissism is. After I learned it, I realized I went through many of them. 😮

It was torture to work under her and she majorly gaslight almost everyone around me to think I was the company's worst employee just, because I didn't brown nose her like her other underlings 😅 my review went from the best to the worst over a year just because she felt threatened by me. When it's a family member it's hard to face the truth. My daughter just used me when she needed something. Everything was my fault, even her choices in boyfriends. I finally woke up when she hit her early thirties. Once you see it, you can never go back.

My former friend/colleague. She was a parasite who used people until there was no longer any use for them. When the shine wore off or they finally wised up to how she was treating them, she would discard them like trash. I'm so glad I cut her out. A Narcissists Rules For Total "Ownership" of You:
1. If I like something you do, I'll take credit for it.
2. If I can take your self-worth (or ANYTHING else!) from you, it's mine.
3. If I think about something I want from you, a it's mine.
4. If it's mine - appearance, property, skill, etc., it must never appear to be yours in any way.
5. If anything I want from you is broken, it's ALL yours
6. If there is ANY doubt, it's mine

(Based on the toddler rule of ownership. Well, they ARE emotional maturity equals!)

My 35 year old Niece, When her Grandmother who Reared her, My Mother had a Stroke, , Me Despirate for Help, Realized I Could Not Trust Her. Lying, Cheating, Double Dealing, Double Agent . I Would Not have Believed it.
