I felt the best in the entire life as a vegan and did it for almost a year, unbelievable energy and zest for life, clear headed and great sleep. Went carnivore right after for four months and everything went downhill. Every single person in my personal life who went keto has gotten overly lean and or looks pale and unhealthy and has their issues. It gave me severe insomnia, fatigue and debilitating brain fog. Just a warning to people wanting to try. Nutrition ain't so black and white

It’s an elimination diet. That’s it. Short term potential can be huge depending on where your health is, but you could get the same effect, if not better doing a potato only diet. No added benefit to eating meat. Huge long term risks associated with this diet.

The difference with vegan vs. carnivore is that carnivore is actually okay long term, but veganism isn't due to the lack of nutrients. Over time, veganism will have a detrimental effect on your body. You'll feel good at first, just like with carnivore, but long term it will do damage. Long term carnivore doesn't necessarily have the same effect because you're getting vital nutrients your body needs that a vegan diet simply doesn't provide.

For me, carnivore has quieted food cravings esp sugar cravings. When I was unprocessed vegan and vegetarian in the past, I would fall off into sugar and carb binges that were hard to dig my way out of.

You obviously have no idea of the nutrients in red meat, organ meat, eggs and butter.

Very good point of view. Difference between the two is, if you’re vegan or raw vegan and you have meat nothing bad will happen. If you are carnivore and you will have carbs, oh boy, this meeting is going to be very painful. I think most people can safely switch between carnivore, vegan, raw vegan, and a lean protein plus fruit during the year. I done it all but I wouldn’t commit to any of them for life.

I switched to carnivore because every form of carbohydrate is addictive to me. No matter if sugar, potatoes, pasta, or rice. I'm much chubbier when I have carbs in my life.

I really like this viewpoint on discriminatory diets. It's the same as the reason why low carb diets work: it's not that your body doesn't need carbs intake to function properly. It's just that the modern man diet is so overabundant on carbs that most people have carbohydrates stored in their bodies for weeks, even months. Low carb diets on their own are terrible. They only work because their bodies finally get to "detox" from all the stored carbs that have been throwing the body off balance for so long.

For me carnivore is doable and very sustainable…no other diet ever gave me these benefits …not vegetarian or vegan. In fact I felt horrible on both and was fat for 20 years…so for now I say this way of eating is for life!!! I’ve never been healthier 😊

As someone who did both because of health problems, I agree.

Yeah clearly you have done very little research. There are be many long term carnivores who are extremely healthy. You can also add other food if you want but don’t say you will run into issues when you won’t…. The benefit is much more than just cutting out junk.

As someone that did all sort of diets, keto, or carnivore as is called nowadays, is good for losing fat, but I wouldn't use it long te

I think many people can do long term carnivore and thrive on it. You get all the nutrients you need, so why not?

I think in the same way although I don't think as a vegan diet as a form of dieting, veganism it's an ethical stand for animals, you don't want to inflict pain and death to animals that isn't even needed for you to live a healthy life. Yes you can be very healthy on a vegan diet even better if it's a raw vegan probably due to the amount of minerals and good stuff you introduce daily, but that is just a good consequence of a much greater concern behind that choice. Some people go vegan for health solely and that's ok, but normally that's not a long lasting choice. Veganism as an ethical standing point doesn't have an end because principles and ethics can never change ones that the realisation is made and the steps for the change are taken.

Carnivore is the only diet you can eat indefinitely without supplementation lol.

No it's not the same. Vegan diet isn't healthy period, as former vegetarian, I look at Vegan diet. # 1 vegan diet lack 7 essential nutrients #2 vegan food need to processed before humans can digest it and #3 please miss me with raw bull shit , humans aren't cows and don't have enzymes to digest raw vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, spinach ect . We can easily digest fruit. The " health" benefit from raw diet is that you will lose weight as you can't absorb much of the nutrients.

Nope not same benefits cos vegans will end up nutrient deficient

You do not get the same results from carnivore as you do from other whole food diets - I did a wfpb diet many times and it's not even comparable.

Why does he use a hyper specific example of a banana and they try to use it as a comparison for an entire food group? Is he aware meat does come from one place?
