Every Thursday at 8pm EST, I will be live on YouTube grilling claimants with questions for their upcoming ALJ hearing. Just call 407-279-1754 and we will run questions together. First come, first serve, and please remember to use a pseudo name.

Howdy guys, my name is Attorney Walter Rudolph Hnot, III. New Jersey born, MBA, JD, Master Mason and a tireless advocate for the homeless and low income who are seeking disability benefits. It's simple, if you are within the law's requirements for disability benefits, you get a check every month, and health insurance. No, it doesn't include a new iPhone, house or cool car, but, with your SSI/SSDI disability backpay, you can potentially get those things...with your own disability money :-). I created this channel because of how many crazy things I was hearing out in the general public on how this system works. I did library seminars, academia seminars, food truck seminars (which I prefer), etc...The online video platform is the best way to reach the majority of you guys.

But guys like me who have worked 45 years straight in a blue collar job and my body finally gave out and at age 62 I’m having to meet with a ALJ in September and pray that he has enough common sense to realize an older adult with 6 disc removed from his spine with a fusion and a right arm and hand paralyzed can’t do work. Especially since my job of 35 years forced me to retire because I couldn’t pass a physical for the job

So unfair! I am a disabled 55 year old veteran and can’t even get SSDI with not enough work credits but immigrants can get SSI with no work experience 😡

But guys like me get cancer after working 40 years, and spend 4 years fighting to get approved.

Walter you are so spot on.
Yes my daughter us now 21 they wanted a 5year history. Debilitating migraines since she was 5yrs old. Treatments unsuccessful so while the Healthcare figures this out she would have no income. I have to take care of her with this inflation 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ she is only trying to get some assistance to lessen my hardship

When i became disabled, It took me 3-years to have myself checked out and Document everything, I never realized that I was so banged up after working the past 35-years until I absolutely couldn't work anymore!, Laborer work is Non forgiving and painful by the end, it all hits you at once!, because I was in denial that I had any problems at all, not good!, ✨

I had 48 credits when I broke my back at work. Workers comp wouldn't look at the mid back where it was broken. I get SSI only because, I had to go in front of 5 Judges in a 13 year period before I was finally approved for disability. But no credits for the SSDI.

"Limited education" is 11th grade or less. 8th grade or less is "Marginal education".

I saw a post just today on SSDI Reddit that mentioned they speak English as a second language, and just got approved for SSDI, 27 year old male, and he asked the forum if it is ok to go to college as well that he had just applied for FASFA and student aid. My first thought is wow, they just wanna take whatever they can get!! First of all, there are people who cannot sit long enough cannot think long enough and they get denied for SSDI and here’s this 27 year old immigrant (that was clear the way he spoke that he was), getting all this stuff. 🤷‍♀️

Why don't they make it easier for SSI recipients to do little odd jobs that they can handle without over stressing or over working their disability just so they can make ends meet??? Can you do a full video on this PLEEEAAASSSEEE!!! Just for SSI. It's always always SSDI stuff.

If an immigrant is naturalized, they have become an American citizen and as such they have all the rights any other citizen has. An attorney ought to know better than to imply anything other than that.

Oh dear walter! I have just fallen in love with you. I had to delay my appeal hearing do the hip replacement in march. Then my attorney had to postpone and I'm still waiting a new phone hearing date. In the interim my attorney sent me a waiver for the 73 day notice requirement for rescheduling. I knew I'd have another doctor visit before the hearing date and I decided against that. So glad I did because this new rule is going to work in my favor. The education thing I'm in 57 years old so teaching the old dog new tricks are asking them to have great recalls not Bueno. It's been 5 years since I've worked add my condition has become severe. Have autoimmune disorders left and right degenerative disc disease polyneuropathies cardiovascular post heart attack and stent etcetera etcetera. So the rule as far as it applies to me since I had to appeal back in 2019 after a denied reconsideration. Covid really helped me delay this getting processed. So this is the best news I've had in 5 years thank you for sharing this and unfortunately the other part of this rule is going to suck if they decide to play games and combine the trusts. But God loves me and I'm going to keep hope alive that they don't do that before I at least get a chance to live five more years.
