i've taken a different approach to this and have always given the prospective employer a reasonable salary range if asked during an interview (after doing my own research about the local job market). I think for as long as your skills and experience match the role and your salary expectations are reasonable, you're bound to get the job. Great video. Just one potential issue: some companies will *not* let you progress to the interview stage without giving a number. So then it's down to market research (and a bit of luck)
