This is how HR's think they're smart until sooner the employee resignes and renegotiate the salary part😂🤣

True story: my company offered more than what I asked . They know it is not worth waiting to train and then lose someone to a different firm. That would be shortsightedness. Paying market rate shows commitment from the employer and a happy employee stays.

I think the best reply to wats ur salary expectation is to ask back wat is the salary band that is being offered for the role. This has worked well for me. HRs generally give the lowest value they think but sometimes even that might b more than wat u would b thinking

1. Always do research on what is avergae salary for this position in other companies and your company
2. Evaluate your performance yourself after interview
3. Then quote a bit higher value than expected.
4. Never say negative about previous jobs or any peers.
5. Have a smile on face, if not getting, watch very good comedy clip just before interview
6. Stick to what u want for more than a moment and decrease value once, not like shopkeeper bargaining.
7. Pray to god before and after interview for everything

FYI : This way I got around 300% hike from 5 to direct 20😅

💯 true, instead of 30-40 percent from current salary, we should expect current market salary based on your experience...and highlight the same during discussion...

Better don't say particular number instead say I'll accept the salary as per company's norms, so that they will offer as per company's norms, I guess freshers can't negotiate but experienced guys can slightly, however they know actual rate for that position.

Well replied... Thr admiring point is after you justify your expected with regard to market standard salary, you are giving a chance to company to THINK-TANK on fixing market salary

Guys don't take her advice too seriously, this is a portfolio for her to get a job in HR. After watching several of her videos that's the conclusion I came to. Her advice isn't to help us succeed, but to butter up HR for her own hiring.
