How to Count Cells in Microsoft Excel (COUNT, COUNTA, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS Functions)

There are few different functions for counting cells in Microsoft Excel. The COUNT function counts the number of cells that have numbers. The COUNTA function counts the number of cells that have numbers or text. The COUNTBLANK function counts the number of cells that have blanks. The COUNTIF function counts the number of cells that meet a condition, and the COUNTIFS function counts the number of times that multiple conditions are met.

I have a question for countif and countifs. Not only do I want to count, but I also I want excel to highlight or bold or cell fill color those counted from the data. Can it be done? Thanks

Thank you - however, it didn't work for me since my Excel doesn't respond to English commands. If you get an error message, that might be the reason! It took some googling, but this video was helpful nonetheless :-)
