I didn’t date my husband. We met somewhere, he talked to my dad about his intention to marry me. We talked and get to know each other for 5 months before getting married. Never transgress the halal and ahamdulillah we’re happily married now and i never regret anything, alhamdulillah he is the right person and best husband that Allah has sent to me.

damn, that part about romance being risky before marriage, i've never heard that before, yet it makes the most sense.

Notes. Talk to your potential partner : Deen, character, likes & dislikes, priorities, vision of a family, career. Prioritize religion and character. Make decisions with your proper thinking and use full senses. You can get married without flirting. Avoid being alone physically intimate, or speaking romantically.

Alhumdulillah thank you for posting this! I've been frightened of marriage. Too much damage in my past...too much hurt. I don't want to go through all that again. But I know Allah (SWT) does not like us to remain single. I like the approach explained here. Find someone whose deen is in line with my own and whose iman is strong. JazakAllah to Omar Suleiyman, all his family, and to all my brothers and sisters in Islam!

I like what he says " Just because people don't post pictures of there marriage they are not haply married"
this is something private between the husband and wife. I don't have to please other people so they can think I'm happily married, may they don't like to share these photos.

MasaALLAH brothers. It is very heartwarming seeing how muslim brothers from different parts of the world and different nationalities are so well connected and working together to bring the dawah forward and trying to get the consent of ALLAH swt

When I have a crush on someone, I became extremely shy, I can't look, I can't speak, I can't walk in the same direction, I can't think properly, need to calm down but I'm recovering from it and try to talk to myself "Astaghfirullah calm down, be shy but be normal" I'm just a cute cat who keeps running away, but now Alhamdulillah at least I can smile and then leave. Is just a crush but I wasn't sure about taking that person in my life because I want to feel peaceful and happy with my spouse, I'm putting my trust in Allah has a better plan for me because I don't feel about this person is the right for me even though I like this individual.
