I guess, I am the outlyer. A woman who wants a marriage covenant under God, but refused to sign up for the state version.

What you are looking for is a private marriage contract which is basically an amended 'Cohabitation and Co-parenting agreement'.

What? An agreement for a civil arrangement? So like a marriage license?

You can still put two peoples names in everything, like boyfriends and girlfriends already do, or like business partners for with LLC.

So the correct here is, you get married anyway you see fit that doesn't involve a marriage license.

I have known more people that was married without a marriage license stay together longer than those that have a marriage license.

Unfortunately he’s gonna have to deal with common law marriage (if you live together) even if he doesn’t get married, better look for a good lawyer to sign a solid prenup
