8:36 I hope these folks succeed. I was happy to see they both dressed up for court. Small detail but says so much. They also looked ok with the drug test schedule and didn’t make excuses even though one is in need of foot surgery and the other traveled six hours to help out, they still agreed to the schedule. I hope they get things together completely and continue to do well 🙏🏻

Unfortunately false positives happen all the time. I was jailed for 43 days due to a faulty test. It wasn’t until the lab results came back did the court realize their grave mistake and I didn’t even get an apology. I couldn’t fight it in court because I simply didn’t have the money to do so. The lost wages weren’t worth fighting for. It’s sickening. People don’t want to believe that this kind of crap happens but it does.

I don’t understand how parents can do this I grew up with violence drugs abuse (mom’s friends) and when the trap house we stayed in got raided I lived on the streets with said friends til my gma an gpa hired a investigator to find me I was 12 I went thru hell then I went thru my own issues addiction, juvy etc and left my gmas at 15 and have been on my own since she was emotionally abusive I was blamed for my mom being in prison for 11 years. What saved me was having my daughter I was 16 and I did a complete change had all 3 of my baby’s by 21. Now there 13, 14 and 18 and I’ve been with there father almost 20 years. They have no idea of the pain I went thru they have had stability since day 1 and so much love. These cases break my heart 😢

I had a hearing like this. Not over zoom. But me and her dad went to court to release temporary custody from her aunt and custody back to us. It’s very possible to do better and stay clean and have your kids back with you. Kids should always come first. And if you can’t be a good parent or you can stop using drugs then just stay away.

The Kirkpatricks, I really hope they are continuing to do well! They didn’t make excuses and agreed to do as the courts asked. It can be disheartening seeing so many of the parents even after kids removed not doing what’s needed. Seeing some who seem to be trying is great

The first one. The way she was nodding as they talked about doing the tests that same day. And as soon as they asked her said yes. I have hope there! (Idk if she’s shown again in this video bc I’m only 10 mins in) . But that really was a great sign to her be like yes ma’am I will do whatever I have to do .

I don’t believe drug test, I test positive for THC, yet I never did drugs in my life or use any CBD products, and went they tested my levels, it was indicated that my levels were so low that it could’ve possibly been through second hand smoking.
