Dan Patrick and the Danettes discuss who they think had the better night last night between New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso, who hit the game-winning home run to help the Mets advance to the NLDS, and Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins, who threw for over 500 yards to lead the Falcons to an overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football

Being the major reason at winning a playoff game in any sport trumps a good regular season performance in my view.

I watched that Falcons game, and yes, Cousins had a gazillion yards throwing, but he also had a few (scratch that, quite a bit) passes that should have been knocked down or intercepted. That Bucs D was absolutely horrible. I've never seen their pass defense struggle like that...
Cousins will regroup next week and recapture his mediocre to slightly above avg QB play, and all will be right in the NFL again!
