PSA ALWAYS check with your local laws. I am not claiming this to be legal anywhere specifically.

The first double detent folder I have owned. Man, this knife is fun to play with. the Caged ceramic bearings are silky smooth and perfect compliment to the double detent which is “just enough tension” imo. The Vero Engineering Nureon is something I have had my eye on for sometime, and lo and behold - they just released the 2nd generation! Interesting fact about this knife is that since the blade length is under 3 inches and since there is no locking mechanism, it is a relatively great knife for traveling and legal in many counties where locking knives and knives with blades over 3” are not. It features a 2.76’’ Sheepsfoot M390 Blade, titanium skeletonized liners and full titanium hardware, another really badass design by Joseph Vero! It also has a front flipper deployment (that I can’t get my nubby thumbs around) 😝

I think its more dangerous without the lockout. But then again none of the knife laws I see ever actual make sense.

Some of the worst knife bites I have seen usually come from a non-locking knives, down to the bone in some cases

Iowa State Fair, no pocket knives allowed, metal detectors in place. But once inside you can go to any of a dozen different booths and buy a new pocket knife. That and every farmer that comes in the livestock entrance with a truck and big livestock trailer has a pocket knife or a knife sheathed on his hip. Throw logic to the wind on that one!

Murphys Law. It will collapse precisely when you don’t want it to. Nice aesthetics though.

I'm so used to locking blades, id be hesitant using one like that

In those countries I would just carry a hammer around. Thats a scarier weapon than any 3inch non locking knife.

WTF?....why would a blade that locks out (which is a safety feature) be illegal?
Some laws make absolutely no sense..

Fun fact, im Finland, having anything that can be used to harm another person on you when youre in a public place is prohibited by the law, it will be confiscated and you might be fined.

Soon, the UK will ban any markers that say “Sharpie.”

I had a coworker complain that I carried a pocket knife.
I noted that if it came down to it, I would promise to use my 40lbs office chair.

The idea that ANY knife is illegal is beyond ridiculous.

I think they’re dangerous without the lock - to me.
And for all the uk laws knife crime figures continue to soar.
There is now an offence of being in possession of a pointed article…😮

This is so cool. I think Kizer mini bay can be considered to be budget version of this kind of knife (not comparing the size and materials, just the fidget part). Mini bay has flipper and has no lock.

Especially from the legal aspect and the knife itself engineered not to be deadly. This is one of the most attractive purchases of any knives shown. Simply wonderful.🔆

legal but the customs will confiscate it and you lose a 300 dollar knife

Being someone that does international travel, but also wanted to have a knife/ multi tool with me; I went a bit of a different route. I didn’t just want something that fit the legal definition, but also was something that would be unassuming and would fit the task for 99% of what I would use it for, so I ended up going with a small Victorinox. The blade on it is used 99% of the time to open packaged and things like that and it’s something that TSA/ customs wouldn’t think twice about since they’ve seen hundreds of them.

Even if a knife like what’s shown in the video fits the legal definition of “ok”, I still wouldn’t travel international with it checked in. It’s going to potentially attract too much attention.
