For reference, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia use either the E27 Screw or B22 Bayonet Cap, while the United States, Canada, Japan & Taiwan use the E26 Screw. furthermore The letter "E" in refers to Edison Screw. While the numerical value refers to the base diameter in millimeters.
