Why Didn’t Palpatine Try And Find Yoda After Order 66?

Yoda was of course the Grand Master of the Jedi, potentially making him the biggest danger to Palpatines rule. However, Palpatine made little effort to kill the Jedi and it almost seemed like he wanted him alive. In fact, his bounty stipulated that he must be captured alive and was only around 30,000 credits. For context, that's around the same price as a TIE fighter. However, there were two compelling reasons for this. Particularly in legends, Palpatine felt that the Jedi were of no danger to him, even going so far as to believe that the force was on the side of the Sith. However, perhaps more importantly, Palpatine believed that the many years of Jedi hubris meant that Yoda should atone for his sins, and should be forced to watch the galaxy embrace the dark side.

Palpatine sure thought Yoda would die before finding him, not for natural cause, by by an overdose of ketamine

"This Yoda, lives he still? Ah, he lives not. Very good..."

Its pretty simple, Yoda was so powerful that even just a few Jedi were left these few warriors brought a small balance to the force. Palpatine new that he had to keep some Jedi alive so the force wouldn't produce another Chosen one( which was actually the destiny of Anakin do it) even that the Sith was in the power of the galaxy the Jedi keep getting stronger in small groups or alone. Looking for sanctuarys to evolve in the ways of force and become stronger. So if there was only one Jedi left the force would convert a sith to the light side of the force, bc that's how the force would gain balance again.

Lucas himself said he had no idea who yoda is when he introduced him so stories aside they just kinda solved a puzzle.

A foolish mistake, as despite no longer being a physical threat, Yoda would go on to train the man who was Palatine and the empire's undoing.

He knew Vader was supposed to bring the force balance...sith balancing by equaling Obi and Yoda power was preferred over equaling nothing

I wonder what the other jedi's bounties were😮

His bounty can’t have been bringing him alive as the clones tried to kill yoda in ROTS

If Palpatine and Vader wanted Yoda dead, it would have happened, on contrary to popular belief, later alone could have squash Yoda, he might not have been as good of a duelist, but he was superior in the force because he is the chosen one and he is backed by the force as a whole, the force wouldn't allow him to die until the prophecy was fulfilled, and if they both fought Yoda, he wouldn't get far.

Palpatine probably got off by the fact that his greatest enemy was doing nothing to stop him.

His long-time planning to make the Skywalkers extinct by making his granddaughter the last jedi was far more important

After reading the Thrawn trilogy, I was under the impression that Palpatine simply couldn't find him. The galaxy is far too big, and Yoda made sure not to let anyone detect him even with the force.

Also Yoda and obi wan where the reasons why sidious was beaten because they trained the son of Vader sidious actually feared Yoda more than any other being but he new Yoda went into exile and wouldn't come back personally to fight him so I stead of sending his men to their deaths he left Yoda alone

True, the real one Palpatine viewed as the biggest threat to his empire was Obi-Wan, and the Inquisitors were originally commissioned to hunt down Obi-Wan, and the other surviving Jedi as well, but specifically Obi-Wan

It wasn’t P job to kill Jedi. He ordered Vader to do it.

Let’s also consider that Yoda exiled himself to Dagobah where no one can find him. Making it pretty clear that Yoda gave up on trying to stop Palpatine by himself.
