Been suffering from anxiety/panic attacks for 11 years now after a horrible panic attack high from weed. Its now turned into somatic OCD and hyperawareness. I've gotten better but its a struggle some days. Thanks for this video.

It's not careless to care less.
Codependent relationships are huge when it comes to the topic of your video. A lot of people are hyper- vigilant and even though a relationship may be toxic and reinforcing TMS, its easier to stay in a relationship than to get out. It feels "safer", even though it's really not at all.

Oh wow. This makes so much sense.
In a new relationship. My symptoms are so crazy. Went from back /neck /hand pain to tingling sensations in arms, hands to brain fog to bad anxiety again.

Wow, describes me totally. Even the pressure of clothes on my chest sometimes makes my brain think something is wrong before I realize its just the weight of the fabric on my skin. Also always stiff movements, no twisting or bending over without holding on to something. Its a difficult way to live.

Just being exposed to this by my counselor, apparently started from my Dad leaving me at 12 and being burdened of watching over a sick mother.
Now Married I am nit picking my wifes past even though in the present moment everything is fine. ...apparently, because in my mind I feel stressed and especially when I feel happiness

I feel this is me, described so well in this video. I’m going to start to care less, even in the social encounters I have. I didn’t know I needed this, and yet I know now that I did. Thank you Dan 😇 xoxoxo Shveta

Mine i feel comes from when i genuinely thought i was gonna get murdered by someone who acted like my friend so now i cant trust a soul and it makes me feel everybody has predetermined negativity toward me.

I very much get this video. I have definitely been in a hyper vigilant state even more so after learning about TMS. Now whenever I feel anything new, even if it’s a sore throat, I start thinking is this a new TMS symptom? Is this feeling real or am I making myself feel this way? Kinda makes you feel like you are losing your mind a little but I’m hoping this is just a part of the process... I really appreciate these videos Dan, thank you so much for making them!

Is it normal to have this and to constantly be self focused and feeling detached and never relaxed? If so what can I do do stop it.. thanks

This video is missing other typical hypervigilance - i.e. the societal in terms of justice/injustice, ecological harm, nuts with weapons, political dangers. At least some of us are on high alert with these huge issues, not mere attitudes of other people we may cross paths with. No offense, but that's tiny fry vigilance comparatively.
