1. Over enunciate everything you say (put weight to some words). Slow down sometimes
2. Practice. Like reading anything (on Instagram, an article ) out loud
3. Record yourself while practicing

I tend to speak fast when I get excited and I also find that when I do people get mad. I also will try this

It's really a struggle when you have a speaking/speech disorder. I talk so fast to the outcome people will find me weird or egoistic.

Very good video! Great job. My only disagreeing opinion is telling people to read things like the instagram comment section. I think this is a double edged sword. Next thing you know they’ll be reading “ It’s Giving like not rich “ out loud and conditioning themselves to think that’s actually English. If you’re gonna read out loud and take your articulation serious you might as well not be lazy and read a book. Even a paragraph a day. Great communication will improve your relationships, your interactions, your finances, your opportunities etc.. it’s worth it

I am ALWAYS doing this since I was a kid. I swear if I have a stroke I might be able to gain my speech back if my brain recalls the 1 million exercises I know... I swear I know them all. LOL and I put 1 hour still every day to practice on my speech. And I will say that and memorizing are great way to build confidence. And memorize on my channel is easy. The thing YOU got PRACTICE every day as I am doing as I learn accents, and playing a flute. You need to exercise like juggling. Putting 10 to 15 minutes every day or few minutes to practice to remind your brain to recall it. Little is MORE the doing nothing is robbing you.

This helps me so much actually, I’m just trying to improve my speech.
As a man; I’ve always had problems speaking, I don’t know why, maybe trauma and abuse but that’s alright. So I never had to ability to properly express myself to people, I just smile or talk barely, and it’s only once I’m comfortable with them that I speak higher and more properly.

This will help me just be a more fluent person

Good stuff. One of the really helpful tips I got many years ago for improving speech and pronunciation. Is make sure you’re opening your mouth enough when speaking. A good trick is take your index finger knuckle and use that as the measurement for how much to open your mouth.

I found this channel because I want to do a podcast and YT channel, so I would like to improve my clarity, get rid of the uh's and um's, you know the typical things a lot of people say probably without even noticing when they talk.

It's a great tool in the actor's toolbox like emotionalrange, etc. Morgan Freeman said one of his teachers drilled this into him.
