This is Ali, one of my incredible students from my recent STAGE communication workshop. He's an excellent communicator, but one of his biggest challenges is his volume.

I'm sure many of you can relate to this - without volume, we lack clarity and belief in what we say. It's the lifeblood of our voice!

If you're ready to learn how to master your communication skills join me at my upcoming in-person workshop!

All my life, especially in class, I’ve struggled with speaking loud enough for people to hear me. And even when I think I’m almost screaming, people still tell me they can’t hear me. I guess I really do need to almost scream and I’ve just been afraid of sounding stupid because I tend to be shy, even if I’m confident in what I’m trying to say. So thank you so much for this. God bless you ❤

I'm definitely a low pitch talker myself. I will be practicing this with people I don't know at first.

My parents taught us this. Now I’m a great public speaker and my wife is always telling me to talk quieter.

As a Pakistani, our parents tell us since childhood to not be loud as its impolite. Programmed in head. I live in Europe now and i have become louder overtime, but i still feel impolite. Goodness me. Very much needed.

Such a direct, but kind and judgment free, way of addressing somebody’s insecurities in a constructive way. You are excellent at helping people take steps towards being their best selves.

Hey guys, just letting you know that Vinh has a free Masterclass video currently available and it expires in 2 days. I would recommend watching it through at least 5 times to make sure that you’re picking up on his visual and vocal image techniques. Every second Vinh is doing something with his body that is technically brilliant, and you can learn so much from watching it. Wishing you all the best on your communication journey 🙌🙌

This is so real. To me, speaking louder feels like I'm screaming at people instead of talking at a "normal" volume. I'm working on it, because my voice is deeper and I feel like I spoke loud enough, but that mostly isn't the case

Makes sense. As a comedian, I've had similar experience over many years. You've got to get familiar with the loud voice. It's not loud to the Audience. It actually instills confidence in the audience and they look at you with more respect.

I always had the problem of my words mixing with each other leading to non-clarity of words in my speech. I will try this approach out. Thanks a ton!

Literally what I learned to do. I look up straight and then speak louder than normal, it makes you appear bolder and clearer in your speech.

God bless you man, I needed this. Struggling with this for years.. I'm a grown black man in his 30's, and people have always told me my voice is weak, soft, and childish. I will definitely be following and subscribing!

As a usual quite guy during presentations, last year I put my mind into trying to be louder in my next one, so in the first presentation I made sure my voice is loud and slow all the time, while sweating inside, at the end I just hoped I wasn't annoying or bothersome, after a few months was chatting with a classmate and they mentioned how my presentation impressed them and made them decide to try and do as good, and how they took me as a role model, I was in shook

Matching volume with your room resonated with me. I can see how I could scale up now that I think of it in that manner.
