Poor Eomer. I feel terrible for him. He sees his sister amongst the slain (or at least he thinks, amongst the slain) and immediately rushes over to her, screaming. This demonstrates the close connection the pair had.

When I saw the advertisement for the extended edition this was shown but Eowyn wasn’t fully visible and gave me the impression that Eomer was mourning the death of Theoden.

This made litterally no sense. I don't remember how it played out in the books, but for the movies this seems like cut content they forgot to cut.
