I cried the moment Eomer screamed when he saw his sister seemingly dead. Karl is so talented to bring chills in my heart and spine. So fitting to see him in the house of healing scene looking so scared he would lose Eowyn; in the book, it didn’t happen.

Imagine just thinking you won a great battle, only to turn around and see your sister, seemingly dead, who was suppose to be safe hundreds of miles away. The confusion and grief that would overwhelm you.

Karl Urban actually dislocated his ankle as he rush and dropped to the ground to mourn Eowen, yet he kept acting for as long as the cut lasted to get the best out of the scene. Such a great actor

This was a powerful scene. My heart went out to Eomer when he thought he lost his sister. Just the scream alone made my heart drop.

Hearing Liv singing during this scene still gives me goosebumps. Especially with the "I wish I could hold you closer" while Faramir is looking at her. There's so many ways to interpret this song too, because it's Eowyn wishing for Aragorn's affections, and Arwen and Aragorn longing for each other. And also like they said on the extended edition bonus stuff, it connects Eowyn and Arwen even more. An incredible song in so many ways!

The scene is funny in the book, because he went from Faramir and Eowyn's solemn awakening to Merry waking up and asking when he's going to eat and where's his tobacco.

Eowyn waking up in bed reminds me of when I recovered from covid. When I got well after two long weeks, I awoke in the early morning and felt reborn. I felt more rested than I had in a long time.

So considerately caring Argorn for Eomer about, his sister, Eowyn, as for she as well. Nice how he helps heal her. She got wound on her arm from the Witch King breaking her shield with it's mace. Listening Liv Tyler's song makes me imagine myself being in a middle age medical room like there.
