Had to leave for work before making timestamps for the topics (or even watching the video lol). Maybe someone can do the honors in the comment section? Have an excellent day!

I can't wait for a $400 5060 with 8gb that's slower than the 4060 ti.

Edit: guess I am not alone 😂

The 5090 will be available at the bargain price of $5, 090! Remember, the more you buy the more you save, so buy at least a dozen!

5050 gonna be the silliest name for a gpu ever

The next gen's GPU specs came to me in a dream. They're as follows:

Nvidia:
5090 (32gb) - $2500 (70% uplift over 4090)
5080 (16gb) - $1600 (20% uplift over 4090)
5070 (16gb) - $1200 (20% uplift over 4080)
5060ti (12gb) - $800 (literally a 4070 in a new box)
5060 (8gb) - $600 (-3% uplift over a 4060)

This generation will introduce a new way of rendering called "invent-a-problem-sell-a-solution-tracing", where the entire game world is rendered at all times, even the parts that the player can't see (like behind buildings, behind the player, or even levels from way later in the game) for "maximum immersion, like real life". This will of course destroy framerates, but luckily there will be the 50-series exclusive DLSS 4, which will be the main selling point of the generation.
DLSS 4, when enabled, will play a pre-rendered video of the game while telling you you're actually playing the game (much like giving a younger sibling a controller that isn't plugged in while playing on a console). It will also inject data into any monotoring program in order to tell you that you're getting 1 billion FPS with -1ms latency.
Instead of the 12VHPWR connector, this gen will use the new 12V-2x6 connector which will on average last 2 more months before self-combusting (which will also be blamed on user error because there was a 2 Planck length gap between the connector pieces, instead of the 1 Planck length it was certified for (connector clip however still allows cable to become unseated by about half an inch))

AMD's lineup on the other hand will look like this:

8800 XTXXX (128gb) - $1199 (10% faster than 5070, draws 700W under load and 200W while idle)
8800 XTXX (96gb) - $1149 (10% slower than 5070)
8800 XTX (64gb) - $799 (just about equal to 5060ti)
8800 XT (32gb) - $749 (10% slower than 5060ti)
8700 XT (16gb) - $549 (literally the Ryzen 5700G integrated graphics chip)

This generation will finally have caught up with Nvidia in ray tracing performance, but it will severely lag behind in
All cards suffer from insane idle power draw at launch, but this will soon be fixed (in every driver update forever, for real this time, no for real for real, I promise, whoops just not for your specific monitor I guess, better luck next driver update)
An answer to DLSS 4 will finally arrive about half a decade later in the form of SPR-MGA-ULTRA-HPR-RX and FSR 4.0, which will be worse in every conceivable metric when compared to DLSS 4, but it will run on both the Samsung Smart Fridge and Texas Instruments TI-84 plus graphing calculator, which will please many people.

Finally, Intel's Battlemage line of GPU's will offer insane price-to-performance, whose flagship delivers cutting-edge performance for the year of 2020, for only $299... if you're able to actually launch the game you're trying to play (which you won't, because there are no drivers and devs ignore the card's existence)

Crazy we’re already a year into ADA. They been rolling out these cards too slow and too pricey

Even if this was true about the 5090, the 5060 will be on the level of the 4060 ti. Probably still with 8gb of vram.

I got a good feeling it will be $2, 000 and the 5080 will be $1, 600 and be as strong as the 4090. Value

Don't worry the 5090 would only require a 3000w Power supply, i9-30900k 30th gen, with dry ice cooling AIO.

I believe one of the best thing about your news on your channel is yhe fact you are in hurry because you have to leave for work, so you are in a hurry, which makes you go directly to the point. At least, I enjoy the non-wasted time news

We should all be fighting the “all digital” download only trend as hard as possible.

The companies want us to move away from physical media so they can better control the software once it is in consumers hands.

There will be no more emulation, if we no longer are able to access the media or files. They can decide a few years from now to release a new version/remake of a game and pull the old version from store fronts. Plus many other ways of denying customers, even those who own a copy/license from accessing the games.

Edit… Man, there are some seriously short sighted individuals out there.

If you prefer the download option, good for you. There is no reason that physical media and downloads can’t exist simultaneously.

But the limitations of the download model will show themselves soon enough.

And the privilege of many shows through, in their ignorance of the benefits of resale helping to offset costs of games. Nor do they have the frustration of dealing with notoriously flaky internet connections, that even developed nations like Australia struggle with.

3:28 It might be the same with 50 series. Maybe only 5090 will have big perfomance boost while others might be the same as with rest of the 40 series cards with only marginal perfomance increase.

I'm still running voodoo graphics because I'm afraid of buying the next card and having it being outdated right away.
