Remember it will be 2K$ according to Nvidia but since the production numbers will be crap (because they will make most of their GPU to supply AI, where they have insane profit margins)... the real street prices will be 3K$.

4090 already costs like 3k+ here in Australia I bet the 5090 is gonna cost well over 4k! Truly insane considering I thought paying $1160 for my gaming X 1080ti was a lot when years earlier in 2013 I bought a gtx760 for just $220. Now entry level is around $500 and increasing with each generation giving us lower tier silicon each time.

It’s truly insane and nobody can come up with any good reason why anyone here should pay that much for hardware like this.

Ah yes, the 5090, you will most likely need dual 1000 watt psu's and some serious cooling, otherwise it might be able to melt steel down with the heat it generates. It might not hurt to live next to a power plant for this either. Maybe a power plant in Alaska or something.

Don't get me wrong, I want a 4090/5090, but eventually you have to ask yourself if there's any games slated for release in the future worth that kind of dough. It's a shame to see game developers just rely on sheer horsepower of new chips rather than putting maximum effort into optimization of existing technology.

In Europe the RTX 4090 costs around 2.000€ in the low tier cards. I think if in US is goign to cost the 5090 around 2.000$, in Europe we will see prices over 2.500€ or maybe 3.000€ for top tier cards.

5090 70% faster than the 4090? I'll believe it when Daniel Owen does a video and it turns out to be true. Until then, I am assuming this is the 5090 using frame gen vs the 4090 not using frame gen.

I had GTX 970 and later 980ti. 980ti served me for almost 5 years. That GPU run me games on ultra on 3 screens for the entire time I had it. Best GPU I have ever had.

My 1050 Ti served me well for what it was. My first PC build I got to do in 2016 was an i3-6100 and a 1050 Ti and it wasn't all too powerful but I loved it.

My favorite was the last GTX release before RTX series & i used to own 2x 1070 msi, but i switched to a single 1080ti msi trio x later. And that was my favorite!

Still using a GTX 1070 here. My screen is only 1080p 60Hz so it's good enough for many games.
