I get preloaded syringes of compounded tirzepatide from a local compounding pharmacy. I am 70 so no insurance coverage. I think the cost is pretty good with 2.5mg at $130 for a month and then the price increases by $50 as you titrate up. I have been lucky to respond to the lower dosage. Was on 2.5 for 16 weeks and just went up to 5mg last week. Have lost 25lbs so far with a goal of 50lbs. In the last year I had both hips replaced. Now I am able to walk 2 to 3 miles 5 times a week. I am so thankful that my health insurance covers this with certain criteria being met every 3 months with blood work and weight numbers I had to PA for the first 6 months my Dr then had to do a PA after that and I was approved for an additional year until 8/25. The letter of authorization sent to me noted the company I work for has agreed to cover this as long as the criteria of continued weight loss or maintenance of the 81 lbs lost since January along with blood work every 3 months I'm so greatful because I could not do self pay, so for once in my life something has actually gone my way I always say if it wasn't for bad luck I would have none at all, and I do appreciate so much all your suggestions I can't afford them so I do try to find a cheaper more affordable version and it really has worked well for me so thank you so much for all the great information love hope and support you provide on a daily basis.

I tried Hallandale's compounded tirzepatide for 2 months and I honestly found it to be less effective than zepbound. My weight loss actually stalled on that pharmacy's compound, and I kept gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. I switched back to Zepbound and lost 10 pounds in a month and I have been losing weight steadily ever since. People just have to do what works best for them physically and financially

It didn’t take me very long, maybe about 10 minutes, because I just had to lay everything out and make sure everything was just so (perfectionist here!) and when I used the pen the first time I thought I must have done it wrong it was so quick and easy! Thank you for all you do, you have been with me 40lbs down now and only 10 to go, but flabby. I’m heeding your advice and getting started doing strength training next month after some surgeries.
