Outlook on the web - 3 Calendar features the desktop version doesn't have

Outlook on the web has a lot of features that Outlook desktop doesn't have. I'll cover three calendar features that Outlook on the web has that Outlook desktop doesn't provide. We will look at filtering calendar appointments and filtering by category. Next, we look at how much easier it is to schedule meetings with Outlook on the web. Outlook on the web has a Board feature also. Finally, we will take a quick look at the new Outlook desktop coming out soon.

Thanks a lot man - great video. You're very soothing to listen too as well. I'm changing over to using Calendar on web, since I easily get distracted by the emails in the desktop app. Just wanna check my calendar, not every single email.

Hey Chris, do fully agree w/ you about the Outlook on the web calendar. Unfortunately... I also tried the new version of Outlook desktop as you and backout after few minutes :-( Too much missing functionalities, Word is no more the editor, nor more insert quick parts, convert text to table, draw table, templates are not migrated from previous version to the new one and so on... 😞. At this time, it is useless to deploy it in an Enterprise environment. Hope that Microsoft developers will fix it before enforcing the switch to the new version. All these issues already reported to Microsoft but never received feedback... Cheers

Can you do a video on the Editor? Its my understanding they have a basic and a premium version. Here are a few questions… is the program worth the extra $$ (individual or business users)? Is this included on the web version of outlook? Is this included on the beta version of outlook you mentioned.

I use Outlook on the web most of the day except when there's a feature I need that only the desktop client has. One note - board view is going away very soon, as I get this note when I switch to that view - "In June 2023, board view will be retired. Your calendars, emails, notes, tasks and files will remain in your account."
