I know the pricing thing has been beat to death, but it really seems like automotive journalists are very delicate about not criticizing car makers for obscene pricing. Are journalists afraid of being black listed by these companies or something?

The fact people even think of spending this much on a mid sized truck baffles me. Doesn’t matter if you can truly afford it or not, no mid sized truck is worth this much lol.

LOL that rear seat legroom is such a joke. May as well just offer a 2 door with a longer bed

One day we’ll remember when the price of cars was only 5 figures

The engineers who chose suspension seats vs better suspension had too much soy

No, it's not worth it!

Insane pricing.

Seats, why? So your kids can screw with them and break them? So you can lose rear seat space? So you can have more weight?

The fact that you have to get under the truck to manually adjust the Fox shocks is inexcusable for 67k

Haven't watched yet but I'm 100% sure it is not worth it. No new trucks these days are worth what they're asking.

Those seats are an example of where the current Toyota thinking is at
Truly bizarre
Corporate dysfunction
Toyota Japan needs to get control of its US division and sort it out

The short answer is no. The long one is, that the ranger is way overpriced too.

Those seats are so cheesy/gimmicky. If the suspension was built right, you dont need air shocks in the seats 😂

Imagine having air shock seats with a blown out transfer case (TFL) or a blown out manual transmission (Truck King) 😂

The seats are so gimmicky. Just a way for them to raise the price. Brocoma.

Could have got a 24. Went with a 23 off road 4x4. Absolutely do not regret it. Loaded for 45k. Some new sr5s are more expensive than what I paid.

I have seen four recalls from Toyota involving the Tacoma, Tundra, and Lexis vehicles that share the same drivetrains. I have never seen this many recalls on Toyota-engineered drivetrains before. I'm still hanging on to my 2019 4Runner. No Turbo or Hybrid. It's Naturally aspirated.

If you're not off roading, there is no reason to buy this. If you're off roading, there's no reason to spend $70k on a vehicle.

That interior is horrendous. Geeze...looks like a kid with a 3D printer went crazy after four Red Bulls and Hot Cheetos.

95% of these will never go seriously off-road and are show-off mall crawlers. If they do, the owner will find out that, as equipped, they aren't as capable as they think. Serious off-roaders get a lower trim model and build up what they need for their specific purpose.

The rear leg room is similar to 911 lol
