Hi Jeff- Its a nice truck, but here is the problem:
2017 TRD Pro with delivery tax and doc fees $47, 305 (with inflation = $60, 631)
2023 TRD Pro with delivery tax and doc fees $56, 475 (with inflation = $58, 230)
2024 TRD Pro with delivery tax and doc fees $70, 622 (25.1% increase)

It is not worth $14, 147 more than the previous model. AND- adding $2, 783 is down right dumb.
In my area (Ohio) after tax and doc fees, the total for this truck is $73, 613.85.

Jeff, I have always enjoyed most of your videos, BUT first the important concerns Toyota needs to address is the price point, when Mexico is manufacturing the Tacoma, and they are being paid a much lower wage, that's ridiculous for us Americans with its HIGH prices, this has nothing to do with politics, or inflation but corporate greed from Toyota. My other concern is most recently the recalls for its Tacoma, and the Tundra models, for christ sake fix those issues before the product hits the sales floor and the consumer becomes the owner. I am a loyal Toyota consumer, if the company continues to do these shady practices, then I will take my business elsewhere.

Time shave changed. I’m not even a full on truck guy and I love this Tacoma!
This looks good around $55k tops!
The amount this costs after taxes is crazy.
The bad part is even if you wait 1-2 years for a used one it will still be close to $60k

It looks pretty nice and I don’t doubt all those new off-road features are a big improvement compared with the old TRD-PRO, but, almost $70k before taxes for a small Pick up truck, Jesus, the whole affordable Toyota cars is part of the past now.

Aww what were they thinking when they put the air pressure control for the seats on the back???? I got two kids one a toddler and I would not trust them in the back seats lol

These will be discounted by next year. Nothing useful on this truck that justifies $66k. All party tricks.
